 Veteran actor Jide Kosoko trends online as he makes the proposed ministerial list


Veteran Nollywood actor, Jide Kosoko is one of the trending conversations on popular microblogging platform, Twitter as he makes the proposed ministerial list

According to the reports making the rounds online, Jide Kosoko from Lagos State who started acting in the year 1964 at the age of 10 will be the minister of state for Culture, Tourism, and State of Arts under the Tinubu administration.

Note that President Bola Ahmed Tinubu is required to name his cabinet within 60 days after taking the oath of office on May 29, meaning it remains 18 days to announce the full list.

Also, Former Super Eagles captain, Austin Jay Jay Okocha is being name in the proposed ministerial list as Minister of Youth & Sport Dev State.


Others present in the list include Fayemi Kayode, Gen Abdulmalik Jubril (RTD), Simon Lalong , Nyesome Wike, Nasril El Rufai, Festus Keyamu, Andy Uba, Gboyega Oyetola, Sen Teslim Folarin, Sadique Abubakar, Bello Matawalle, Abubakar Badaru and others.

The verified Twitter user identified as @AnthonyEhilebo wrote; “I just saw a ministerial list plus portfolio..Not Confirmed Attorney General of the Federation – Dr Hassan M Liman (SAN) Solicitor General of the Federation – Babatunde Ogala.”

The incident was said to have occurred on Thursday when the deceased, identified as David Babadipo, was allegedly flogged by the teacher whose name was given as Oluwale. It was gathered that the 16-year-old who had been ill for some days was rushed to a hospital after he was flogged where he was confirmed dead. In a video seen by our correspondent on Friday, many pupils of the school could be seen running helter-skelter within the school compound and outside its premises.
